Getting ready to go to Italy everyone would ask when? How much longer? I have always wanted to go, you’re so lucky! And then when we returned the questions of course changed.

How was it? Tell us everything! Was the food good? Was it beautiful? What was it like?

The answers for going were easy. The answers for coming home were hard.

I just did not know where to begin.

After we returned from our travel to Tuscany,I found myself day dreaming about the rolling hills, strolling through the narrow cobblestone streets, coming upon all the historic attractions, and the time at the villa.

So lets get in the mood for this trip. Let’s start with an Italian recipe for roasted garlic. Go to your kitchen and get a whole bulb of garlic. Cut the whole bulb in half through the widest part. Drizzle the cut side with pure olive oil (brought back from your trip), add a pinch of salt, wrap in foil and bake at 475 for about 1 hour. Soon the aroma will put you there.
