BUS TRAVEL THROUGH TUSCANY

There are 3 main terminals in Tuscany.

FLORENCE - Santa Maria Novella - This is Tuscany’s Main Terminal for all long distance journeys. Also, the hub for local transportation. It is broken down to 4 main bus companies depending on the region.

SITA - Southern and Eastern region

COPIT - Abetone through Pistoia

CAP - Mugello area north

LAZZI - North and west of Florence

SIENA - Piazza San Domenico TRA-IN for regional travel

Piazza Antonio Gramsci - for local travel

At all stations there are purchase agents and machines. In some of the smaller towns when you get dropped off there are ticket offices. Or you can pay when you board.
