TUSCANY PARKS & ZOO'S

Have a family day and visit Tuscany's Parks and Zoo's. Get out and enjoy that Tuscan sun.

Pinocchio Park - Collodi - Northern Tuscany Author Carlo Lorenzini stayed here as a child. Based on Pinocchio - gardens, maze, playground and exhibits. There is a childrens restaurant for everyone to enjoy.

Maremma - Southern Tuscany. Beautiful cliffs, beaches and walking paths. Spend the whole day here. Shaded picnic area. The Tuscany landscape is filled with sea lillies and hollies. The hills are scented with rosemary, rock rose and sea lavender. Walking paths are filled with butterflies, lizards and porcupines. Canoes are available. Pack a picnic and spend the day.

La Verginina - Northern Tuscany 2.5 miles northwest of Pistoia. 7 acres with over 600 animals. New babies. Hours are from 9-7 in the summer months. 9-5 the rest of the year.

Fauna Europe - Poppi - Eastern Tuscany This is a conservation zoo of Europes most endangered species, such as the wolf and lynx. Hours are from 9 - sunset.
